FITNESS FLOW YOGA Fitness Flow is geared for those looking to build stamina and strength while improving flexibility, balance and concentration. Posture routines include both holding poses as well as flowing movement coordinated with the breath. Fitness Flow is suited for beginner or intermediate students looking for a more physical practice. SLOW FLOW VINYASA Embracing the flow of sun salutations, Slow Flow Vinyasa classes are designed to bring awareness to breath and body. Suitable for beginners or more seasoned practitioners, students can expect to learn proper alignment and breathing techniques to open the body and mind for increased health and wellness. GENTLE YOGA Practiced in a warm room and designed to increase flexibility, strength and concentration. Great class for those who are recovering from injury, prefers a softer yoga practice (no downdogs or planks!!) or looking to explore yoga for the first time. This is a great class for anyone.....especially effective for Baby Boomers. HATHA YOGA Explore the art and science of yoga. Each class begins with exploration of an element of the ancient philosophy of yoga. The practice is designed to hold the poses while exploring breath and body alignment. Students can expect to increase flexibility, tone the whole body and improve concentration. A period of guided relaxation ends each class. REWIND YOGA Rewind Yoga is an all-encompassing mind-body yoga program carefully designed for the particular needs of baby boomers and seniors...but effective for everyone. REWIND incorporates specific yoga poses and adaptations, breathing practices and mindfulness techniques that have been shown to help improve functional fitness and balance, reduce stress, alleviate symptoms associated with chronic conditions and promote healthy body awareness. YOGA and HOPS - Donation Class The second Sunday of every month is Free Yoga and a Beer at Common Roots Brewing at 30 Saratoga Avenue, in South Glens Falls at 12:00 pm.
